Say hi:
Coach David
He/Him · Recreational & Adaptive Coach
☕ All-American flips · Adaptive gymnastics advocate · Powered by donuts & coffee
Coach David brings 19 years of experience in the gymnastics world—as a gymnast, coach, and judge. He started gymnastics at High Point Gymnastics Academy and went on to compete on the University of Michigan’s Varsity team, where he earned All-American honors on pommel horse and served as captain his senior year.

He’s passionate about making gymnastics accessible to all. During college, David created and led adaptive gymnastics classes for athletes with a wide range of disabilities—and he’s excited to continue this work at Industry Gymnastics.

These days, you’ll find him coaching with a big smile, cheering on each kid’s progress, and always leading with care and encouragement. He’s currently a medical student, a long-distance runner, and a firm believer that coffee and donuts > everything.

David remembers being scared of almost every skill when he started. But the first time he nailed a back handspring? He never looked back—and now he helps kids find their own breakthrough moments too.
